November Staff Spotlight: Terri Stall
What is your favorite part about your job? Working with the members is my absolute favorite. There’s so much about training that goes beyond teaching someone a movement pattern. It’s the part that teaches them about themselves and their unperceived abilities. It’s the joy on their faces when they do something they didn’t think they could do, the look when they reach AND pass a goal they’ve been working hard to accomplish, the relief when they can move with no pain. My joy is seeing their joy. Those moments are what life is all about…as I help them, they help me want to become even better.
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies? I’m a very novice drummer. I was in a band for five minutes and loved it! I’ve fallen in love with pickleball. I roast my own coffee, manage sourdough and am learning to fly fish.
Who inspires you: Jesus is the leader of my life. What a perfect example of servanthood! He is my rock! Come what may in this earthly life, I know He’s with me. (Joshua 1:9). My earthly inspiration is my dad. His presence, and impact on my life cannot be described in words. I didn’t know it was possible to love a human so much or to feel so much love from a human.
What is on your bucket list: Not sure I have one as I’m living my best life. But I would love to own a cabin in the Adirondacks.
Favorite food: Cereal, pizza, steak, ribs, mashed potatoes, homemade bread.
Favorite vacation: My trip to Hawaii. That is the most beautiful place I’ve ever visited.
What are you most thankful for: My family and my struggles.
