Our Registered Dietitians work with the members at the Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center. They are here to teach you how to eat well and fuel your body so you feel prepared to continue your healthy living journey. You can find them working with the chef in our culinary classes, teaching nutrition programs or workshops, or talk with them one-on-one in a private, nutrition consultation appointment.
Since childhood, Kate’s curiosity for food has drawn her into the kitchen. She is intrigued by where food comes from, how it is prepared, how our body uses it, and how it is woven into our lives socially and emotionally. As a dietitian, Kate helps you sort through the facts and figures, the fads and the hype to learn more about nutrition and diet. She is active in nutrition education related to weight management, practical applications of nutrition-related lifestyle changes, and culinary arts. A favorite quote by Charles Schulz sums up her nutrition philosophy well – “All you need is love, but a little bit of chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt!”
