The DAHLC is blessed to have such a talented and diverse group of people instructing group fitness classes. You go to their classes, learn from them, enjoy yourself so we thought you might like to know more about them and what guides their own wellness.
You can find Megan M. in the cycle studio and the fitness pool. Her definition of wellness is:
"Wellness is a combination of the physical and the mental, and it means something different to each and every person. I am continually on a journey to wellness. Personally, being present, using my senses and having a strong concept of who I am (physically and mentally) makes me feel well. A great smile never hurts either!"
Here are some fun facts about Megan:
*What's always in your fridge/on your grocery list? "Eggs, spinach, carrots, avocados, bananas, apples, plain yogurt"
*Favorite way to lose track of time: "Reading or playing with my 8-year-old daughter"
*One thing from your bucket list: "Completing an Ironman (140.6 miles) race"
When asked what excites her about working at the DAHLC, she said: "I really enjoy meeting the members and getting to know them. I love hearing their stories, journeys, challenges and triumphs. I also love that the DAHLC is a place where anyone can find his/her own space. There is so much offered and it's a true place of health & wellness."
