Please also consider offering hours for children under 16 months on Saturdays. Thanks!

I love the DAHLC! I’ve had a membership for many years. I’m a single mom and I work full time (M-F days) and haven’t been able to use the facility in a very long time because I don’t have childcare. I’m grateful for the childcare that is offered on Saturdays! I would be thrilled if you had it in the evenings during the week and especially if it covered the times of the evening classes!
Thanks for your consideration!!
Erica

Hello Erica – thanks for your recommendations regarding child care services at the DAHLC. Due to sustained low demand and interest from users, we had to decrease evening hours of operation. We aren’t exploring expanded hours at this time but appreciate your feedback.

Opening a child care club is really a great idea you have thought. Parents are nowadays much more busy in their professional life and don’t get too much time even for their child . This will leads to lack in child’s growth in skills, opening such clubs will surely going to help many more parents to become tension free. Before few days i have read a similar article wherein, many preschools like Long Island Preschool are also conducting such clubs.

I can’t believe the day care closes so early during weekdays. I’ve only been able to utilize it ONCE over the weekend for my 2y/o. I work M-F 7-3:30p. Unfortunately, my fiance and I may have to reconsider a gym membership elsewhere with a wider range of daycare hours. It seems these hours would only be beneficial to those working second shift or later. I want to be able to enjoy my workout without having to find care for my child elsewhere. Totally inconvenient, this highly impacts my ability to make it to the gym. It’s too bad we have to look elsewhere now.
