For a Cycle class you can wear traditional workout clothes and shoes. Avoid long, loose pants as they may get caught in the pedals. Dry wicking clothing works well because it allows the sweat on your body to dry quickly. Padded bike shorts might provide extra added comfort while seated on the bike. Stiff soled shoes are ideal because they will support the entire foot from toes to heel. If you have cycle shoes, i.e. those that clip in to the pedals, the indoor bikes at the DAHLC will accommodate an SPD clip. Here is more information on our dress guidelines.
