If your turkey is still frozen, don't panic. You have options:
- Cold water: place the wrapped turkey in a bath of cold water. Change the water every 30 minutes.
- Microwave: If you start microwaving, plan to continue the cooking process. Move from the microwave oven to the conventional oven.
- Frozen: You can cook the bird from frozen, you'll need plan for 1 1/2 times the prescribed cooking time.

Cook your turkey to an internal temperature of 165 degrees, check with a thermometer (don't rely on the pop up button).
